When I woke up with amnesia - I had to struggle to find the answers to who I was in my past. I had to interview various strangers who kept insisting they were either related to me by a blood relations - or - had known me during my childhood. At one point, I thought maybe these people were 'gypsies' who had kidnapped me and were trying to convince me during my absense of knowledge that they had known me in my past. I had to develop a trust toward strangers. (Which, later proved to be another handicap I had to overcome.) This section deals with the family I felt I was introduced to at the age of 18. A family I had to get to know again through new conversations and looking at photograph albums to find an emotional connection. |
